In line with the move towards a global cashless society SMARTLoad has been designed to provide a range of fully enabled, PCI compliant, web services including card loading direct from the holders nominated account and Auto Top-up. SMARTLoad also supports CSExpress on-line ordering to further extend the catering services.
SMARTLoad meets the requirements of APACS 30 (relating to card transaction authorisations) and APACS 29b (relating to fund transfer protocols).
A user can register onto the SMARTLoad system using the internet to setup access password
etc. During this registration process the user may register one or more credit or debit cards
onto the system, or choose to use the auto top up facility. SMARTLoad system uses PCI
(Payment Card Industry) approved and regulated servers to insure the security of the highly
sensitive card and bank account data being stored on behalf of the user.

Once a card is registered the user may then log in at any time and move funds from one of the registered cards into the users web wallet, (a web wallet is a virtual wallet held within SMARTLoad)
once funds are loaded into this wallet they can be drawn down onto a cashless card within Smartsuite or used to pay for items bought using the CSExpress on-line ordering system.
