Steve founded the business in 1989, based on innovative market leading products he quickly grew the business in the EPOS
sector winning several prestigious clients. His constant desire to develop the next generation of products saw him move the
business direction into cashless payment systems. Today he still prides himself on being involved in all aspects of the
business no matter how big or small.

Other than Counter Solutions, Steve’s main love in life is cars. He has been heavily involved in racing both competition and
team management; however he has difficulty differentiating between the track and normal roads, much to the frustration of his legal team.
Touted as the next big racing talent in 1985 Steve is still awaiting the call from McLaren….

Chris Bernans

Chris joined Counter Solutions in 2003 as a member of the Project Services Team assisting and managing the successful implementations of Counter Solutions cashless solutions.
To support the European growth of Counter Solutions Chris became Manager of the International department. With continued success in Holland, Belgium and Germany – Counter Solutions decided to set up
Counter Solutions GmbH and establish offices in Germany. Chris joined the board of directors and became European Director of both the international department as well as Counter Solutions GmbH in 2008.
In 2010 Chris absorbed the responsibility of group sales and operations and move to his current role of Group Operations Director.

Chris “One Shot” Bernans is a player for the Coach and Horses Pub Skittles Team. A sport like this needs constant practice and strategic management. To ensure this is properly completed Chris can
be often found in his local pub refining his skills! Unfortunately this season the team is likely to be relegated, ever the optimist Chris plans to upgrade his training program to achieve promotion next season!

Tanveer joined Counter Solutions in 1996 as a Financial Controller and was appointed to the Board as a Finance
Director in 1998. Tanveer is responsible for the financial direction of Counter Solutions Group. Tanveer qualified in
Practice before moving on to hold senior positions in both Public and Private sectors.

Tanveer is regarded as a ‘professional academic’ and considers on-going research in corporate finance as an exhilarating hobby!
He is looking to pursue a PhD in his area of research. Tanveer has taken up golf but despite his undoubted command over figures
is yet to reconcile his handicap to his performance on the golf course. Who knows weather permitting he may even enter the marathon!
